Harry McFarlane

The first setting from Scotland published by Decani, and approved by both the Scottish and English & Welsh Bishops. Harry McFarlane has been writing music for the liturgy for many years and his previous work includes the widely used Mass of St John Ogilvie. He has taken up the challenge of the revised translation and has striven to make this setting melodic and atmospheric. It has already been sung at the Chrism Mass in Ayr Cathedral, diocese of Galloway. Contains: Lord have mercy, Penitential Act C (with two cantors), through-composed Gloria, Alleluia and Lent Gospel Acclamation, Eucharistic Acclamations, Lord’s Prayer, Lamb of God (two settings), Dismissal (four texts.)
