1. Pricing and availability

Products listed on the website sometimes become unavailable, and the prices are subject to change.
We will inform you by e-mail if any products you order turn out to be unavailable.
Goods are despatched as soon as possible after reception of the order.
If you order from the site via email instead of through the shopping basket we will dispatch the goods on invoice. Payment is to be made within 30 days from the date of the invoice.
If you order by post and enclose your payment no delay is made to allow for clearance of the cheque.

2. Liability

Decani Music Ltd:
(i) does not make any representations or warranties that the information and/or material contained on or accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current or that use of the site is free of risk of viruses or other damage

Unless otherwise agreed in writing Decani Music Ltd shall not be liable to you for

(ii) any loss of profits, business or anticipated savings or loss of or corruption of data or any indirect loss or consequential loss whatsoever.

In each case, whether such loss arises in contract, tort, negligence, misrepresntation, breach of statutory duty or otherwise and Decani Music has been advised or the possibility of such loss. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under English law.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa and MasterCard payments. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery to individual customers in the UK
Delivery charges will be calculated automatically and shown at the time you place your order.

Charges are as follows:
Orders up to £10.00 ….£2.00
Orders up to £30.00 ….£3.00
Orders up to £40.00 ….£4.00
Orders up to £50.00 ….£5.00
Minimum charge (for online transactions) £2.00
Maximum charge (for online transactions) £5.00

Exceptions:
Bulk orders of hymn books for the UK . We will contact you with a delivery price once we have received your order – please contact us for a quote.

For our purposes the UK includes all mainland addresses in England, Scotland and Wales addresses. It does not include Northern Ireland, or any off-shore islands.

Overseas Orders

Western Europe… minimum charge £4.00

For our purposes, Western Europe includes Andorra, Austria, Belgium Channel Islands, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland (Republic of), Italy, Jersey, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Monacco, Northern Island, Norway, Portual, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland,The Vatican City State and the UK (off-shore Isles)

North America… minimum charge £6.00

For our purposes, North America includes the 50 states of the USA and Canada

Rest of the world… minimum charge £6.00

Please note, that for bulk orders for overseas, we will contact you with a delivery price once we have received your order – please contact us for a quote.

Payment by cheque
We take payment in either sterling or euro (please make cheques payable to Decani Music Ltd)

Despatch

Orders for Decani’s own publictions are normally despatched within 2 to 3 working days of receipt of order. Publications from our American suppliers (OCP, GIA, World Library) may take up to four weeks but customers will be advised when placing orders.

Privacy Notice

Any information you submit is treasted as confidential and used only by Decani Music for the purpose of processing your order. Your details will not be sold or made available to any other company or individual for any reason and we do not retain credit card details on computer file.

Delivery Schedule

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
