A new setting by a native of Sussex and using quotations from two melodies from the county. Unusually this Mass includes two settings of the Gloria, on in free rhythm (to match the Kyrie Eleison) and one in more rhythmic mode (this contains one of the two Sussex quotations) to show how this hymn can be interpreted in different ways. The whole mass is based on strong melodies which will reward the effort of learning them.
Two new editions have been added with SATB parts: a full score and a choral only version, making this setting even more useful.
